Hats had a double role in the past : to protect from the sun, the rain and the wind, and a social status assertion. It has then be a full fashion accessory. As everyone has noticed it : there is a real come back of all accessories in the way we dress. I have always thought that it was the details that gave a real personality to our appearance, wearing the latest hit bag or the hair accessory that embellish the whole outfit. Hats have always been particular and reserved to particular occasions such as weddings or a special party or evening. It is no more the case and people dare to wear this so distinctive accessory. Thanks to huge brands that revived them and adapted them to a more bohemian and rock look in summer as well as in winter!
